Ocean Lovers We stood on the beach and looked out at the ocean. “Would you swim this ocean for me?” she asked. I told her I couldn’t. “If you loved me, you would try.” She said. I told her I couldn’t swim. “Love will make a way.” She responded. The only way love could help, I said, is if it were to build a boat. Only the sound of the surf replied. “Would you die for me?” she asked. I know when I’m not wanted, so I walked away. |
